Drawing on her diverse background in business, technology, and recruiting, leadership coach Melissa has gained a unique perspective on how to prepare students for the future. She founded Lev Academics on the belief that every student has the potential to succeed through a personalized, flexible, and student-centered learning experience.

Melissa is passionate about applying her professional coaching expertise to help students develop the crucial skills they need to thrive. As a mother of three who has guided her own children through the high school system and university application process, she deeply understands the requirements and needs of students during this challenging and exciting time in their lives.

Rochelle has over 30 years of experience as an educational leader in private and independent schools. In addition to being a classroom teacher and school librarian, Rochelle has held several administrative roles in the school system, including Principal and Dean of Student Services.

 

Throughout her career, Rochelle has drawn on her strong interpersonal skills, love of teaching, and philosophy of education to help guide thousands of students to succeed both academically and personally. She believes that all individuals have the inherent ability to grow, achieve, and thrive. With the proper supports, guidance, and encouragement, she has made it her mission to see each and every young adult develop the necessary skills to confidently move through the world. She is curious, passionate and optimistic in her approach and looks forward to partnering with teachers, students and their families in her role as Principal.

Gillian believes that every student has the ability to succeed when they are supported with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning strategies. With a background in psychology, neuroscience, research, post-secondary education, and academic administration, she is passionate about creating engaging, personalized learning experiences that help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

With experience teaching at both the college and high school levels, Gillian has worked with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds and learning needs. She holds a Master's degree in Psychological Neuroscience and is currently completing her Doctor of Education (EdD), further strengthening her expertise in teaching, learning, and student success. By combining evidence-based teaching strategies with a supportive and approachable style, she makes complex concepts accessible, engaging, and meaningful. Gillian is committed to creating a positive learning environment where every student feels supported, motivated, and empowered.
